Dawood was an integral part of Pennsylvania’s West Shore Hospital design-build team. Meeting the increasing demands for improved technologies in hospital systems, the state-of-the-art facility constitutes 200,000 square feet on four floors. The hospital includes services for acute medical and surgical care, cardiology, orthopedics, chronic diseases, transitional care, and an emergency department.
Our team developed a conceptual plan to expand the existing hospital building with modifications. Dawood prepared a site development plan including storm drainage, sanitary, and water service; site lighting; wetland delineation, rare, threatened, and endangered species coordination; utilities relocation; soil borings; a traffic impact assessment; an erosion and sediment pollution control plan; and construction bid-phase including documentation.
